Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Mark Burrows brings a wealth of experience to his financial career, having served 23 years in the military—8 years in the Navy and 15 years in the Army. Throughout his military service, Mark deployed worldwide, dedicating his life to protecting and serving others. In 2007, while deployed in combat in Iraq, Mark survived his helicopter being shot down, an experience that deepened his sense of purpose and commitment to helping others. After retiring from the Army, Mark answered a new calling to support his local community, using his skills and passion as a pilot with "Flight For Life Colorado" to save lives.
During his time with Flight For Life, Mark discovered a passion for helping families safeguard their financial futures in times of need. Initially starting part-time as a life and health insurance agent, he soon realized the broader impact he could have. Mark decided to transition fully into financial services, focusing on protecting his clients' financial legacies.

Mark has been happily married to his wife, Nichole, for over 21 years, and together they have two boys who are active in school sports and events. In his free time, Mark enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, and exploring the rich mining and geological history of Colorado through rock-hounding and gold panning.
